E Hari

This is the second novel written by Manu Te Awa and is a sequel to E Te Tau, which was published in 2008. The story begins with the marriage of Te Tau and Hāriata, and although it is a celebration for the uniting families, it ends in tragedy. The Māori language used is very accessible for the intended audience. Some issues discussed may also be aligned with Tikanga ā-Iwi and Hauora curricula. This story is written in the dialect of Ngā Puhi, the iwi the author is from.
