Jeanette King

Jeanette King author pic

Jeanette King is an Associate Professor in the School of Māori and Indigenous Studies at the University of Canterbury and heads the bilingual theme of the New Zealand Institute of Language, Brain and Behaviour. Jeanette is also a member of the MAONZE (Māori and New Zealand English) team which has been studying changes in the pronunciation of Māori over the last 100 years.

She has published articles on aspects of Māori language, language revitalisation and Māori immersion education.
