Julian Arahanga

Julian Arahangā (Ngāti Raukawa, Te Ati ā Pāpārangi) is a film maker and actor having starred in Once Were Warriors, followed by a starring role in the cross-cultural romance Broken English. Since then Julian has had a prolific career working both in front of and behind the camera, including producing a short documentary in 2008 on the escapades of John Pohe titled Turangāarere: The John Pohe Story. Julian is currently the director of Awa Films.
