Delivery

For standard deliveries within New Zealand please allow 1–3 working days. If you require an urgent delivery please call us on 04 473 9262 before making payment.

New Zealand orders placed before midday will be dispatched the same day. For orders placed after midday please allow an extra day for delivery.

International deliveries can be selected during ordering. These options include:

International orders

All book prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. For international orders, GST will be deducted during the checkout process.

For all international orders, a pick and pack fee of NZ$5.00 will be added during the checkout process.

Delivery delays: COVID-19 globally has led to delays of packages coming in and out of Aotearoa. International Courier service is being prioritised over International Air Post and International Express Courier is the best service for urgent deliveries however delays may still occur. 

Addressing

Please note that the delivery address on your order must be a street address. Deliveries will not be made to PO boxes.

If parcels are incorrectly addressed by HUIA, we accept responsibility for the re-delivery, replacement, or refunding of the product at no additional charge. If parcels are incorrectly addressed by the customer, HUIA will not refund or resend the product; all responsibility for correcting the delivery will be borne by the customer.

Returns

All measures are taken to ensure that products are not damaged in transit. However, as things don’t always go to plan, if a book is damaged on arrival, HUIA will accept the return. To return a product please email customer.services@huia.co.nz and quote your order number, the title of the items you would like to return, the reason for the return and an image showing the damage. A replacement book will be sent to you as quickly as possible. You do not need to send the book back, but you must contact us within three days of receiving the damaged product.

Refunds

Refunds will be given at the discretion of HUIA management.

Sale items

Valid for online orders only. Sale prices are not available with any other discount offers or to wholesale customers. All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

Holiday Hours

Our office will be closed from 25th December 2020 until 12th January 2021. However, we will still be processing book orders over the break.
