This set of four books features four birds native to Aotearoa. The birds are: kāhu, kākā, korimako and ruru. Each book informs our tamariki about whakapapa and kōrero tuku iho. The books describe the bird and its home and offer other facts specifically about each bird.
Photos, illustrations and maps support the text and bring colour to the books.
Ngā Manu – Pūao will extend the range of natural history resources available in Māori immersion school settings.
