This journal is aimed at Year 7–8 students. Te Tautoko 76 journal aims to assist students in their research about the body. The journal contains articles on the four anatomical systems, which are the nervous system (te pūnaha ioio), the digestive system (te pūnaha nakunaku kai), the circulatory system (te pūnaha toto) and the muscular system (te pūnaha uaua). Students learn about the different parts of the systems and how they work. As the students read the book, they will come across reading strategy prompts. These have been developed to help the student analyse and make sense of the text.
