Jane Cooper has been a primary school teacher and Paeārahi /Leader of Ngā Uri o Ngā Iwi, Māori Medium Education at Te Rehu, Westmere School. She has taught in rumaki and reorua classes for over twenty years, integrating Māori history and pūrākau stories of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland into the curriculum.
