Julia Donaldson is a writer of picture books, educational books, novels for pre-teens and teenagers, plays, songs and musicals and is also a performer. She has written over 150 books and won multiple awards, including many for The Gruffalo. In 2011, she was selected as the UK Children’s Laureate.
