Mere Kēpa

Mere Kēpa is the named investigator for Te Puāwaitanga o ngā tapuwae kia ora tonu. Life and living in advanced age: a cohort study in New Zealand (LiLACS NZ), School of Population Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Auckland.

Her most recent research has been around the population health aspects of longevity and in changing services to deepen and broaden people’s knowledge of ageing successfully. In August 2014, she became a member of Te Rōpū Kaitiaki o ngā tikanga Māori (Protectors of principles of conduct in Māori research), the Indigenous Māori advisors, co-authors, and presenters to LiLACS NZ. She is also a foundation convener of the Indigenous Peoples and Ageing Special Interest Group of the Gerontological Society of America.
