Te Wai-a-Tauranga Nuku

Te Waia brings with her, as a kōhanga reo and kura kaupapa Māori graduate, a greater understanding of the importance of representation and the sense of belonging it can bring to tamariki. As one of the project coordinators at HUIA, her passion and pride in working on resources for the next generation of kura kauapa Māori graduates shines through in every project Te Waia works on.
