Brian Morris

Kia ora, my name is Brian Morris.  My background is in education with over thirty years’ experience in the education sector. I have teaching experience in both English and Māori medium settings, excellent organisational skills and considerable management experience. I have taught in both primary and secondary schools, including being Principal of Te Aute College for two years. I have been the key account manager with the Ministry of Education, ensuring HUIA products are closely aligned with Te Marautanga o Aotearoa, The New Zealand Curriculum and the relevant assessment frameworks. Since attaining the translators’ certificate, I have translated and provided quality assurance for numerous texts/documents/resources including children’s books, learning resources, websites, strategic plans, annual reports, contracts, IT content, digital resources, and many more.
