HUIA was asked to create a visual identity for Te Marautanga o Aotearoa representative of a te ao Māori worldview that could be implemented and explored in other documents, teaching and learning resources and communications products in the future.
HUIA worked in collaboration with the illustrator to provide designs based on takarangi that reflected whakaaro Māori and placed a student at the centre of an individual journey that would revisit various kaupapa at deeper and more detailed levels the longer they were on the pathway.
